The Birth of Moss Homes Wellness: Why We Created Banish for a Healthier Home

The journey for Moss Homes Wellness is personal. And it started with Banish™….(though being honest, it started years before). 

I created Banish™ because I needed it.

My home needed it. No shame, we went from living in lavish homes and even luxury hotels to securing an apartment that turned out to be roach infested.

Finding out you are going to have another baby after your youngest is 6 years old puts you in a new game field. Bringing that baby home and watching her grow brings the overthinking parent up into your reality. 

When we had our 6th child, may I say, panic entered as I watched her grow and explore and everything she touched went in her mouth.

She found herself in every closet and under every cabinet pulling things out and placing that in her mouth.

Now add the fact we were staying in a roach infested apartment and baby my mind was OVER IT.

I wanted natural solutions so that no UH OHs would happen with my babies, and the way my pockets were set up, just going online and purchasing wasn't the solution immediately available to me. So here I am trying to make sure our new baby doesn't get sick AND we are dealing with bugs…am I being punked? [hahaha punked am I showing my age?]

All the doubts came in as a mother. How did we end up here?

We were so happy about our new home. It was beautiful. Children had their own bathroom and everything. I could garden outside, I could walk to our covered parking. It was nice. It was a gated community with 2 pools, play area, nice community center. Again it was nice.

I enjoyed it being close to downtown to the point I took daily strolls through the area. Again it was nice. YET when I walked into our home (a home we deep cleaned regularly) a roach said hello daily.

I got curious, started talking with our neighbors too, because am I the only one? WHELP, we learned the apartments did the bare minimum to flip the home. It was a quick money grab.

After talking to other residents this was a very common issue. ROACHES.

So we did what we could, my husband pulled every appliance outside of the home and cleaned so good you could lick the floor. Seriously. But the bugs never left.

I remember watching my baby girl who was only a year and a half old by now, walk her curious self through the house grabbing and touching everything she saw.

It was that moment I knew we needed to move to all natural products. I didn't want to be the mom caught up in the hospital because our child ingested something bad.

So here I was frustrated with life. The home God blessed us with was starting to create issues. My children were sick way more than I had ever seen. My oldest couldn't breathe at night, we yelled at the kids to keep the house clean even if it really wasn't messed up, it was all just frustrating.

Hunny it was around 3am on March 23rd, 2023 and I went to make something to eat and a roach crawled over my stove. I cried. I was so grossed out I didn't want to eat a damn thing ever again in that kitchen. So I stood right there in the middle of my kitchen, and I prayed for God to release me from our current home.

I burst out in tears. I was embarrassed, and then before you know it I was grabbing things from my kitchen cabinet and essential oil bag and filled a 2 oz bottle I had from the dollar tree.

Babbbbby when I said it worked. IT WORKED. It worked so well, my son, my daughter and I started creating all types of ways to test it.

God spoke clearly that morning, and said not only will he release us from the home but he will gift us the power, energy, and insight to support other families with this same issue.

And so Banish™ was born.....

This isn't just a random creation. This spray changed our home. Shifted so much under our roof and is now THE THING that will do the same for you.

When this vision, this formula was given to me from God, I won’t lie, I almost gave it back.

Truly. I was like God how can you trust me with an assignment so big. So well thought out. Like God I've not been the best.

I'm sure he laughed. Like I'M SURE. See God BEEN TRUSTING ME with big assignments. After all, I'm a mother of 7. After all, I ran a Business Systems company for years and regardless of the outcome I've supported over 50 companies to be more intentional and present in their business with systems I created. After all, he has led many to reach out to me for comfort, spiritual guidance, reassurance, perspective shifts, etc and I showed up for them regardless of what's going on.
